Basavaraj Horatti’s Heroic Act: Aids Injured in Road Accident
Once again, Basavaraj Horatti, the Chairman of the Karnataka Legislative Council, has demonstrated his commitment to helping accident victims. This renowned senior politician, well-known for his benevolent acts, lent a helping hand to those in need.
During his journey from Bengaluru to Hubballi, he came across a distressing scene where a Renault Triber had collided with another vehicle, leaving the Triber’s occupants with injuries. Without hesitation, Chairman Horatti immediately pulled over, rushing to assist the injured parties. He swiftly arranged for their transportation to Chitradurga district hospital in another vehicle.
In a further display of his dedication, Chairman Basavaraj Horatti promptly contacted the Chitradurga Superintendent of Police and District Health Officer to ensure the patients received the necessary care and to make arrangements for their safe transfer to Gadag. Subsequently, he also reached out to the Gadag District Health Officer and Superintendent of Police, providing them with his personal contact information should any difficulties arise.
The victims of this accident were residents of Basaveshwar Nagar in Gadag and were identified as Vishwanath Katwa and his children – Gayatri, Priyanka, and Divyatav. They were en route to Tumakuru, where Divyatav, a student in the 8th standard at a private school, was to attend a parent-teacher meeting, accompanied by his sisters. Chairman Basavaraj Horatti’s timely intervention and compassionate actions have once again proven his dedication to assisting those in need.
